Ayurveda is an ancient system of healing the body.

“Ayurveda is not just about nutrition or herbology, it has a unique tool for diagnosis, diagnosis of understanding the human constitution is different from person to person.
Each one has a unique metabolic system.”

~Maya Tiwari
Why Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems. It is the sister science to yoga, with its Sanskrit meaning translated as "knowledge of life". A handbook for taking care of the body! It has been around for thousands of years, in fact, knowledge and study of Ayurveda is rapidly growing due to its effectiveness as a natural system of medicine.  A system of self healing. Ayurveda encourages lifestyle shifts and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment.

The Blissful Habits course will teach you how to implement the knowledge of Ayurveda through shifting 10 essential daily habits, in a simplified manner, over a period of time, with dramatic results. Simple, yet involving commitment to making the required shifts in outdated or misplaced habits and routines which are making you, and keeping you tired, overweight, sick; or all three.

AYURVEDA CAN HELP YOU MANAGE:
  • Allergies
  • Headache & migraine
  • Low or inconsistent energy levels
  • Insomnia & interrupted sleep

  • Menstrual cycles - Irregularity, pain, PMS, dysmenorrhea, heavy bleeding, PCOS, fibromyalgia, menopause.
  • Anxiety, Depression, ADD, general worries, high stress, negativity.
  • Indication of chronic illnesses & disease such as Cancer, Lyme disease, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease
  • Acne and skin issues
  • And more...
Through providing individualized guidelines on ideal daily and seasonal routines, diet, behaviour, lifestyle, and herbal remedies, Ayurveda reminds us that health is the balanced and dynamic integration between our environment, body, mind, and spirit. It puts the responsibility on us to care for our own bodies. This is one of the key aspects of Ayurveda, in that it provides knowledge of the body functions, and the mind connection, and teaches us to manage ourselves.  (We will rely less on the medical system to fix us).

In the habits course, we also delve into the science of habit change  (mindset) and identity shift, and get solid results. In order to become a better version of yourself, you must understand identity evolution. Our habits run deep; it takes understanding and implementation to shift our outdated habits.  We also connect: A group of individuals on the same journey, facing the same joys and the same struggles, supporting each other throughout the shifts. Studies have consistently proven that group dynamics create change and growth exponentially faster than individual work.

If the term Ayurveda is new or unfamiliar to you, I recommend an online search of it. Integrative medicine is embracing the idea of getting to the root cause of health issues, by taking into account the lifestyle habits of each patient. This is promising news!
Studies are proving that our genetics play less of a role in our health than our environment does. Also great news!
Mindset matters greatly! How do you choose to live?

"Ayurveda is a holistic science and lays emphasis on preserving and promoting the fitness of healthy individuals besides giving methods for treatment of diseases. Health is defined in Ayurveda as “soundness of body, organs and mind.”
